If visiting scarborough you have got to pop in here we found this gem on our first visit to scarborough and never miss the chance to call in for food Sue the owner just makes you feel so welcome and never forgets your name the staff make you feel welcome and they go out of there way to cater to any request you have regarding your meal..so even if it's just a coffee or a meal with a drink we would highly recommend this place, great choices on the menu but the fish n chips are to die forSee you again Sue and staffFIL (Rupert)

Very good place to eat in. Good service, great atmosphere and wonderful staff is there. We really enjoyed our meal and our little boy found this place very interesting.Food was home made and freshly cooked.Well deserved 5 stars!

Went here today for lunch with my Mum and Dad. Great location in the heart of Scarborough town centre with friendly and professional staff and great food (I had the fish and chips special). Beautiful chips, lovely fish and great bread and butter! Only bad thing was the plates were a bit small but apart from that I highly recommend here! :)

I can honestly understand why they named this fantastic restaurant Welcome Inn. The staff were absolutely amazing and gave us a very warm welcome and the food was delicious and 1st class. They allowed us to bring our small dog in and they made a fuss of him and even cooked home a sausage to enjoy whilst we had our food. The restaurant is clean with lots of seating. Well done and keep up the great work. Thanks again from us and Ozzy.

A***** absolutely lovely meal, throughly enjoyed.We had 1x Jumbo Haddock and chips, 2x Haddock and chips and 1x Cod and Chips, 3x Large Drinks, 1 regular drink and 1 can and it come to 62. Which for a lovely meal for 4 adults I do not think it was too bad.The food was all freshly cooked and was amazing. Toilets were excellent and clean. If I had one thing to disagree with the large drinks were nearly 2.95 each and was not much bigger than a regular at 1.95. Also the Lemonadr and Diet Pepsi had a very watered down flavour.But despite this there was canned drinks available and the food was that amazing I have still given it 5 stars as ultimately its the food that makes the meal and not a drink.So highly recommend.
